I am curious if anyone has separate operating entities for your union and non-union staff. We run into a healthcare issue where we are in "large group" markets, but really only offer healthcare to about 30-40 people since majority of our workforce is union labor. I'm wondering what challenges/benefits people have in splitting these into different entities and how charging the contracting company (union) for the management/admin would work to get revenue for the non-union company to offset the labor.
These would be related entities, and I would need to produce consolidated financials, but I'm hoping this might open more options for us in the healthcare arena.
Thank you,
