    Hi all,

Looking for others in the construction field who are using Vista software and have an automated AP solution.  Who are you using?  Would you recommend them?  Pain points?  Benefits?

I come from a different industry where we had gone automated before I left.  I LOVED IT!!  Need to get there with my current company but looking for others who have done so in order to point me towards solutions.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Tracy,

We use Vista and after extensive research, we decided to implement Nvoicepay the first quarter of this year.  it has been wonderful.  We have not used any other automated AP solution provider, therefore, I don't have any comparisons.  The benefit of using Nvoicepay is the seamless integration, the rewards and the time savings we encounter with using this service.  We had a very good implementation team.  The website is very user friendly.  Nvoicepay is very aggressive on signing up vendors to utilize the credit card payment method and as you can expect, we've had vendors to complain about this.  However, upon notification, Nvoicepay is very good about switching them to their payment method of choice.  I would highly recommend them.

You may reach out to me if you have any other questions.

We utilize Comdata for Credit Service payments and all of our credit card charges. The rebates are great and they continue to expand opportunities to make the process easier and more efficient. Their Expense Track mobile app affords our company to process our job expenses, with coding and attachments, on an accelerated basis where we post last week expenses at the end of the following week. Great way to speed up posting real time costs!

Thanks for the feedback Kathy & Paul.  Kathy, correct me if I'm wrong but Nvoicepay is only handling the payments for your payables, correct?  Your team would still be handling invoice entry in this case?

We are currently using Comdata for virtual card payments as well as our purchasing cards.  I am looking for a total AP solution that handles Invoices and payments.  Does anyone have feedback on the invoice automation side?

    Thanks in advance.

Tracy -  We use Textura for all our subcontracts where they enter their pay application $'s  which then flow into Vista.  They are then paid via Textura/ACH in exchange for an electronic lien waiver.  They have setup an automatic link between Textura/Vista so need for import/exports.   This has worked great for us & has really streamlined our AP->Billing->Owner Payment->Sub payment process especially if there is a Title Co involved.

We then started on a search for a similar product that would work for us on the vendor side for our Corporate & Self Perform invoices.  The only company that appeared to come close, that would do both sides, was Concur but I was outvoted & we moved in a different direction (IT & others had concerns of being oversold on systems abilities of what it could do & having a parallel system).   We now use two different products to accomplish this with MBM on the front end (OCR on steroids) for "entry" and Nvoice on the backend for payments via Pcard, ACH or check.   So far things have gone well but I only see this as a temporary patch until there is a better cloud product for direct "invoice" entry/payment by/to vendors.

Please call if you would like to discuss further.
