    Merry Christmas to All,
A couple years ago I did a CRM search.  Cosential came with a really good referrals and the demo was impressive, however, as often happens that project got slid down the priorities list.

We are revisiting or short list and since our initial search TopBuilder showed up on our radar.
Is anyone in the group using the CRM system and would they be willing to share their experience along with decision process.
    Thank you,

I am investigating SalesForce right now, but am in the early stages.  I, too, would love to hear other's thoughts on good CRM's.  I am particularly interested in interfacing with Great Plains, ease of mobile usage and good quality metrics reports.  Thank you for bringing up the topic! -Peter

Zoho is much less expensive and more capable than salesforce... You will need to scope your workflow well before your customize but it's worth the effort.

We are also on Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and are in the early stages on implementing Microsoft CRM.  We considered several solutions, but ultimately decided on Microsoft's product due to the integration with GP.

I'll put a second in for Zoho.  Support is included too and you don't have to use a consultant group like with Sales Force.  We've been on Zoho for a year and a half and are very happy with it's flexibility and suite of software.

We implemented Cosential just over a year ago.  We did a very comprehensive search and found it to be the one best suited for Construction.  Cosential was built completely for the Contractor vertical.  Salesforce and Zoho were a little too plain vanilla, requiring a good bit of adaptive use or customization.  Cosential came in as a very cost effective solution (basically the same price as Zoho,) and it's super easy to tailor things like data entry forms and reports.  It also syncs data back from our ERP system, and their implementation people are awesome.

We initially deployed it to our Construction Department and are now in the process of implementing it for our Service Department's quoted projects and large maintenance agreements.  Feel free to reach out directly if you would like more info on our experience.

Which ERP do you use?  We put our CRM search on the back burner as we have found it very difficult to find anything that effectively syncs with Sage 300 CRE.

We use Viewpoint Spectrum.  I'm not sure if they've built a connector for Sage 300CRE.  I'm sure you're quite aware of the challenges with integrating with the flat file DB that Sage uses.  They can almost definitely make it happen if you're dragging your Sage data out to MS-SQL.  I was extremely impressed with their MS-SQL expertise.  They have a very detailed field mapping process, which will go quicker if you have someone in house who knows the database tables.

We also looked at TopBuilder.  Cosential beat them out with the Outlook plug-in, the ease of use in customizing the entry form templates, and the ERP integration.  Plus TopBuilder just "felt" a little to residential for us.

You could see if using the SQL Replicator for Sage 300 CRE allows any additional integration options. I'm working on a project where I plan to map an integration built for Viewpoint Vista to Sage 300 CRE using SQL replicator. I haven't started this yet, so I don't know if there will be limitations that prevent this from happening.
