I was CFO of a site work contractor until I retired two years ago. During my tenure we implemented Viewpoint/Spectrum, which worked very well for us. The other two enterprise systems you mention are certainly worthy of consideration also.
We found, however, that the enterprise systems did not have robust enough mobile field reporting, dispatch and equipment maintenance functionality for our needs. We utilized B2W Software's One Platform of solutions for these functions. We had used "Track", their mobile field reporting solution very successfully for over 15 years. It smoothly interfaces with Vista, Sage and Spectrum, as well as the other major enterprise systems in the industry.
When we implemented Spectrum, we also implemented "Schedule," B2W's dispatch and equipment/labor scheduling element, as well as "Maintain," their equipment maintenance element. Not only do these elements have deep functionality, but they operate on the same database with the real-time exchange of information. For example, a site superintendent can report an equipment maintenance issue through mobile field reporting which will then automatically feed into the Maintain for repair scheduling and update the piece of equipment as down in Schedule.
