    HI All,

I'm looking for any recommendations on a good CRM software for contractors?

I typically recommend Procore but would like some alternates to reference.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you,

    Hi Jase,

I'd highly recommend Top Builder. Integrates with multiple Softwares, easy to use, yet has all the needed information to help organize proposals.

I recommend Salesforce but I use it for more than just CRM.  We use it from BD, through estimating, and into operations and accounting.  We track MSA and project specific agreements, using DocuSign and Salesforce to route our project contracts for signature.  We also upload month end WIP data and publish project dashboards in SF.  I use the reporting tools to launch daily reports to my supers, PMs, and PEs on the status of the contracts for their jobs.  We use the email alerts functions to alert people to changes in SF such as a project lost or won.  I have a bunch of other ideas that I'm trying to implement but that's what I love about Salesforce, you can shape and design it the way you want.  If I can get my big vision realized then my subs will be logging into a community portal and work with us on various tasks.

We use Prophet by Avidian.  Relatively inexpensive and does a decent job.

I echo Brad's comments on Salesforce. Brad's team is further ahead than we are, but we have been off and running in the 6 months since our Go Live. First phase was bid tracking and monthly sales results. We are almost complete with an integration into our ERP. I believe a lot of your success with a platform like Salesforce is the knowledge of your third-party implementer. We found the Hunley Group out of Charlotte. They are primarily focused on the AEC industry and have pre-built models for sub contractors like us.

We Cosential to manager our CRM process from a lead to an opportunity to a project and then interface with our ERP to see how the project did compared to our expectations.  There is also historical info to review for estimates of the same type projects being reviewed.

Dashboards and reports give a very good ability to manage the sales teams with goals, comparisons to those goals across companies, divisions, and groups along with consolidations.

    Thanks,

    Jase,

We converted to Cosential late last year, and it has completely exceeded our expectations.  We considered Top Builder and Salesforce, but the Outlook integration, customizable data collection forms, and intimate knowledge of the Construction industry that Cosential exhibited made the decision for us.  It's easy to use, and the reporting is both remarkable and extremely easily customized.

The implementation team is incredibly knowledgeable and speaks our language.  It is seamlessly integrated with our ERP system, and provides awesome transparency to us on the executive team for forecasting purposes.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Jase,

We typically recommend Sage CRM because of the open platform it provides for our customers to use it how they see fit. Sage CRM provides all the expected CRM functionality, as well as an easy-to-use administration area to allow your clients to control a lot of their own CRM. No need for a consultant to make changes. The hook into CRE is the key for our customers.

I highly recommend Cosential, cosential.com.  It is a much more construction specific CRM solution than Salesforce.    Pricing is about 1/3 to half that of Salesforce as well.
