Committees & Responsibilities

Core Committees:

Membership Committee
Membership Growth & retention, Member Experience Initiative & Member needs.

Programming Committee
Coordination, Content and Execution of Program Meetings & Events, including CPE credits.

Scholarship Committee
Develop, maintain & promote the Barbara Mostellar Scholarship. Solicit applications and recommend nominations to the board of directors.

Charity Committee
Oversee charitable contributions. Making recommendations to the board and directors and organizing ongoing commitment to the Ronald McDonald House organization.

Marketing & Communications Committee
Oversees development and implementation of the Marketing Plan, including how to promote and sell all chapter communications, including programs and events, website monitoring and development, social networking (Face book, Twitter, LinkedIn) press releases, photography & video etc., special committee communications. Content and publication of the Newsletter.

Golf Committee
Planning, coordination and execution of the annual golf outing within budgetary guidelines established by the Board of Directors.

Executive of the Year Committee
Planning, coordination and execution of the executive of the year event within budgetary guidelines established by the BOD.

Succession Planning
Identify and groom future leaders and recommend a Slate of Officers for the ensuing year within timelines specified by the bylaws.

Executive Committee
Establish the agendas for Board meetings, evaluate the Exec Dir, and make decisions for the Board if a situation arises where it is not practical to pull the entire board together.

Newsletter
Publish a quarterly newsletter to report on Chapter activities and to provide information about issues that may be of interest to its members. The Newsletter typically includes profiles of members, information about events, and articles about topics of interest for construction financial professionals.

Mid-Atlantic Conference Committee
Represent Philadelphia Chapter on regional committee for conference planning and execution.
