CFMA Philadelphia to host Ronald McDonald House Breakfast: August 13, 2016
ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. After a long, and often exhausting, week in the hospital, families look forward to waking up for a "home-away-from-home" hardy breakfast. The breakfast program provides a nutritional meal that might otherwise be skipped because of financial difficulties or time constraints.
Your Philadelphia Chapter of CFMA has reserved an upcoming opportunity to be the Guest Chef at the new Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House at Front and Erie, next to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The date is Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 8am to 11am, followed by a quick tour of the facility. Our volunteers will be purchasing, cooking and setting up a breakfast buffet.
Please help these families who are in town to be with their child undergoing care at one of the fine hospitals we are blessed with in Philadelphia!
If you've been looking for a way to give back, this is it! You are guaranteed to have a great experience while getting to know some of your fellow CFMA members outside the normal business environment, and you will get to meet some beautiful people who have been through a lot and are truly appreciative of your help.
