1.  Computerease Software

Posted 10-12-2017 09:40

We have started our conversion process to Computerease and am looking for recommendations on multifunction copiers.  Any suggestions on what has worked in your office with Computerease would be appreciated.  We are looking to replace our big printer and also our individual printers.  Thanks

As it relates to printers, we have had no problems with using any printer with Computerease. However, with the scanning, we have to be very careful if we want to scan directly into CE. We currently only use Epson since we have had success with the Epson drivers being compatible with CE.

We are also using Epson scanners for the two individuals who do most of the scanning directly into ComputerEase. But we have found the files are rather large. So for larger files we have a Ricoh scanner that emails files directly to the user then we can drag the pdf file into ComputerEase very easily.

We've had no issues with any printers being compatible. We don't scan directly into CE, we scan to email and then save attachments. Perhaps I should revisit that and skip a step in saving! Good luck with your conversion, there are definitely little quirks with the system, but overall we are very happy with our choice with ComptuterEase.
