We currently use Expensify for our expense tracking and reporting with company credit cards, however, they do not work well with Chase.  Does anyone have any recommendations for expense tracking software?

We use ExpenseTrack in conjunction with Comdata credit cards and credit services (direct payment to vendor with rebates). The app and online access points connect to our Viewpoint ERP system with drop down selections for Jobs, Equipment and Other Expenses. We post weekly after we go through the cycle of users completing their entries, supervisors approving them, and AP pushing them through the export/import process.

We use Nexonia to track all expense reporting, both out of pocket and credit cards.  We have used it with both PNC and Comdata (MasterCard and Visa).  It has a great phone app that our field guys like and allows us to automatically deduct standard commute mileage when someone does a mileage expense report.

I've reviewed quite a few different systems for this and based on system functionality and price, I would highly recommended Nexonia.

We are using Concur for expense reimbursement and reporting.

They have a program with Amex.  Employee submit reports, approvers review and authorize.  Payments for out of pocket expense go directly to employees anything charged on company Amex cards get paid directly to Amex.

We down load a file into our ERP (Sage/Timberline) for financial reporting.

Mid 2018 we began using Expense Track in conjunction with Comdata MasterCards.  The implementation took awhile to tweak out just right, but now that it is done it works great.  Staff like the new App they released and it imports fully into ViewPoint Vista fully coded.  I've been pleased.

We have been using the CEMS app through Comdata while working on getting Expense Track up and running.  We have been disappointed enough with Expense Track that we have considered finding a new provider.  We have a lot of employees with cards and feel like the app is clumsy and the pushing of expense reports may be too cumbersome for our field personnel.

For those of you that are happy with Expense Track can I ask how many card holders your are working with?

    Betsy,

We were on CEMS and switched to ExpenseTrack. As Todd mentioned we also had to work through the implementation but now we are mostly satisfied with the results. We have over 400 credit cards. The fuel only cards we default and approve without the cardholder being involved. The multi cardholders can easily code and attach pics of their receipts. We now have a weekly cycle of cardholders coding and submitting their expense for the prior week no late than Tuesday, then approvers approving no later than Thursday, and exporting and posting to Vista on Fridays.

Concur and Certify have become very popular.  Both good systems worth researching.

We also use Comdata Mastercards and Expense Track with 85 cards (construction field, service technicians and management.)  We decided to have one of our AP people "push the button" to push the expense report to export to Spectrum by Viewpoint.  Our cardholders simply take a photo of the receipt, code the transaction, and they're done.  It took our users a couple of weeks to get the hang of the app, after that period, there were no complaints.  Setup was a little tricky because Viewpoint wanted to be difficult because we're Viewpoint managed / AWS cloud hosted.  We import into Spectrum invoice approval for the managers to review the transactions and coding.

The nice thing about Comdata (in addition to the great rebates) is that they are both the card provider and the expense tracking app provider.  You didn't mention what ERP software you use, but Comdata integrates with all of the major Construction industry specific ERP systems.
